Technical FAQS
Ceramic tiles are made from white or red clay and finished with a surface glaze. They are generally lighter and suitable for wall applications.
Porcelain tiles are manufactured from highly refined clay, pressed under extreme pressure, and fired at much higher temperatures. As a result, porcelain tiles are denser, harder, and more durable. This higher density allows porcelain tiles to be produced in larger formats and makes them more resistant to wear.
Wall tiles are typically lighter and softer, and their glaze is not designed to withstand foot traffic. Floor tiles are manufactured with higher strength and abrasion resistance.
As a general rule, wall tiles are suitable for the wall only, and floor tiles are suitable for floors and walls.
